It's dangerous for democracy when the media constantly uses a balance fallacy to be "fair".

I think it's more dangerous for democracy for the media to publish false and biased information to push an agenda.

Trump endlessly calls the media fake news because they print negative things about him that are (mostly) accurate. If they say nice things about him he sings their praises to the sky (see: Fox News, pro-trump right wing pundits and political figures). Even organizations he normally criticizes like the New York Times or the Washington Post he will compliment if they print a positive story about him

It is very disappointing that the leader of the free world has caused so many to turn away from the media just because he doesn't like that they print negative things about him.
