This isn't even close to what I think of when you say "satanic music" though. btw I'm reading about this band now and the concept's pretty cool. They must have some interesting live performances. Yeah, I stumbled on them recently and I really, really enjoy them. Like you said, I love that they've run with this "horror movie in rock-band form" vibe but don't sound like what you imagine at all when you say "satanic music" or whatnot. I don't think so, personally. As for the music, I thoroughly disagree -- wouldn't call it "middling" at all, vast majority of their stuff I find really smart and well-written.
