no amount of money is something you get to keep when you die. giving it away to causes you feel will have lasting impacts without any reward for yourself is a perfectly valid way to spend a fortune.

I was just trying to put into words the mentality that most billionaires would have. I imagine the vast majority of them are *very* careful with their money.
