I'm not convinced they do.

Consider: why would the person screencapping and sharing this block out the person's user name? Are they really looking to shield that person from whatever negative attention they might receive? Or, alternatively, might they be hiding the username because a brief glance at the actual account would reveal that it's satire?

For what it's worth, I searched Tumblr (this looks like Tumblr, it could be Instagram maybe?) for a couple choice segments from this supposed post and couldn't find it. Maybe it's been deleted, maybe it's old, maybe it was created out of wholecloth for this image to be spread around.

95% of these unsourced screenshots are bullshit; how do we still have to teach the "don't believe everything you see online" lesson in 2018?

I'm confused. I haven't experienced any sexual abuse, but the whole mental trauma thing makes it clear I'm not male. Tbh, I've never been attached to the gender I've assumed myself to be based on biological sex, but this is further complicated because I mean... I can't just up and identify as female just because I've experienced mental trauma. I mean honestly I'm cool with being whatever gender. It's all good. I just don't feel like doing all the stuff I'd have to do on a daily basis to present as female. I'm not interested in all the hassle. It's easier to just keep doing what I'm doing and I'm fine with that. It's annoying that this doesn't really define non-sexual abuse (specifically psychological) well enough for me to better grasp where I stand on the gender spectrum. It's understandable though. She's unable to locate a term, admittedly, so clearly her research is incomplete and ongoing. I look forward to updates so that I might better learn my own identity.
