And even putting that aside, that's not even why the mod is claiming to have moderated it. They're claiming a girl died because they didn't actually read the topic.

If they said "I don't like the picture." it would be weird but at least consistent.

What's bad is not actually looking at what you're moderating and then saying justifications that make no sense. That's what makes people dislike and distrust you.

It was moderated because the mod thought a girl died and the topic was making fun of her. Thus it was offensive.

Mod didn't actually read the topic and was completely wrong out of laziness.

Whether or not you personally liked the picture has no effect or relation to the mod being too lazy to actually look at a message before actioning it.
