Oftentimes children are ill-prepared to enter adulthood. Their lives were too easy as children. When I was a teenager, we started having family meetings that discussed our current situation. Mom and dad were both sick, and we had limited financial resources. They showed me how they made it work and eventually started asking my opinion.
