if the answer to that is no, the answer might be freaky friday (her answer about schools is almost certainly a non-sequitor)

guessing anything before you determine if it's a modern-setting drama or modern-setting action adventure would be a mistake.

Unsure, I made the mistake of not narrowing town a timeframe of when it was written.

It's not fantasy or sci-fi, so I think it's pretty safe to say it takes place in our world. It's possible it doesn't, but I think it's a safe bet.
