Mainly interested in what the requirements are for crowns do any Monster Hunter veterans know what these are about

Damn can't remember Sytha's proper GFAQs handle. Nvm.

Never encountered crowns before but I'm assuming it will be either quick kills/TA's for species, fully researching monsters, or simply killing them in a certain way.

Ohhhh it's size thing. Monsters can have variations, and their strengths increase. Some are specific mission enemies whilst others are just chance encounters. Silver Crown and Gold Crown.

Yeah after thinking about it a little more this is almost certainly it.

Yeah crowns are rng. Usually there's some kind of exploit to speed it up.

But yeah. Rng size.
