Which of these is your favorite?

The last poll was on 5th generation consoles, where Playstation controllers with analog sticks won with N64 controllers getting second and only two other options even got a vote.

Damn they were all pretty bad. I guess Xbox purely because of the stick placement and the triggers. The white and black buttons were dumb though and the controller was huge for middle school Smashingpmpkns

PS2. I really liked the analog placement once I got used to it.

PS2 was the best as far as comfort is concerned.

Now it was built like shit and would break easily.

Guy's it's not best system, it's best controller.

Sony can never have the best controller of a generation because shapes are so drastically inferior to letters

I was talking about the controller. Sorry, it did sound like I was talking about the system :P

Which also was a cheap POS that would break easily

You say that but the Dreamcast literally got the letters all backwards.

Which is way more of a mess than picking different symbols entirely.

Was that really your experience? I think the DS2 is solid as a rock. It's the DS3 that feels like it would snap if I gripped it too hard.

*fist bump*

I also have some old systems hooked up to an old TV in another room. A Cube and a 2600 knockoff.

in my experience ps2 controllers break the most. i never really had any controllers break except ps2. only other ones i had stop working were a 360 that i fixed myself and then 64 controllers but that's just a lose analog stick. but for ps2 i've had like 3 die on me. 1 was just like the L2/R2 buttons broke and i wasn't able to fix it without finding replacement parts. then the other 2 had the circuit board short out and half the buttons wouldn't work.

with that said i still voted for ps2 based on the design. 360 did have the triggers where ps3 perfected. 360 was a huge improvement over the original but still a step down compared to the other 2. GC the only real flaw was the c stick. it worked fine and all but in an FPS i just rather have a normal stick.
