I didn't read anything about "moisture". Just blood flow to the clitoris, and this is not evidence of sexual arousal. We know this from the quoted 2007 study in which the female participants insisted that they were not sexually aroused by the naked female images that they had viewed despite this "blood flow" to the clitoris. I'm sure these women knew more about themselves than these researchers and their plethysmographs.

How much you want to bet that women would also exhibit this same "increased blood flow to the clitoris" if allowed to view images of naked children? Would you all then conclude that women are pedophiles?

Indeed, Chiver's study also noted an increase in genital blood flow for women when they viewed images of animal sex.

It's worth noting that in Chiver's study, the straight women who participated all denied that they were sexually aroused by any of the naked female images that they were allowed to view as part of the study. But...but... women are just so clueless about their sexual orientations that they need scientists to tell them who or what they're really attracted to!!! /s

I don't know the reliability of this study, so I'll speculate freely.
My take is that there's a significant difference in how male homosexuality and female homosexuality is viewed by societal norms. When I grew up, "gay" was a big insult to guys, but never to girls. To an extent, this is still how it's used, and I think it conditions boys to be more afraid of male intimacy than it does girls and female intimacy. I've seen similar results about how many women have experimented with other women compared to men, etc.
Of course this is hard to show with evidence, but I think it makes a lot of sense.
