I haven't played it in about a year and a half. The last update I remember when they were adding some Teal color gear that was suppose to be better than Yellow. I never played and got any of that gear. Apparently there has been MASSIVE changes over all this time and the game is way better. Is it worth dusting off and reinstalling? I enjoyed the game for a while until it was just the... "Dark Zone?" I think? Was only available as post game content.

Right now it's probably a top 15-20 game for me. As far as post game content there's: the Dark Zone (PvP and PvE), Survival (PvP and/or PvE), Incursions (PvE), Underground (PvE), Resistance (horde mode, PvE), and Skirmish (PvP)

Depends. I wouldn't really care about owning it without the DLC. But with DLC there is so much to do after finishing the story missions

i think the game is great and the new patch put a lot more content and life into the game. definitely worth trying out.

my only complaints are that a lot of the endgame is locked behind a DLC paywall and that the competitive PVP is pretty bad, but for PvE and the Dark Zone, The Division has been one of my favorite games this gen. the update is very welcome

I purchased the game when it first came out and played it for a few months. Do I have to buy any DLC to unlock the full content of the game, or have all the updates been free?

Underground, Survival, and Last Stand require the DLC

Everything else (except for 1 incursion) comes with the game. But I would get the DLC for Underground and Survival since I think those game modes are pretty neat. Underground being a "random" dungeon kind of thing and Survival tossing you into the map with crap weapons and forcing you to find a way to survive while avoiding freezing to death or dying from sepsis. And the season pass is pretty cheap and almost always on sale

no, the DLC is pretty much just extra game modes. Underground is a PVE one, Last Stand and Survival are PVP.

you can still replay the story missions on hard, do world events, play resistance (basically a new horde mode added in with the patch), kill high value targets, do incursions (the division's version of a raid), etc.
