They basically say "if you wanna access the online store, you must download these files that do nothing to actually improve your console, just attempt to prevent others from hacking it" I just wanna download a game and play. You're stopping me from giving you money because other people don't want to give you money for your games. I honestly have no clue why the eshop doesn't work on older firmwares - I want to buy Stardew Valley on my Switch yet I can't do that because I have to go out of my way to update the console which is too much effort for me. <cite>Darklit_Minuet posted [p:894176899] in I turned o... That has never been my intention. Ingame cheats used to be so fun. Some were built into the games themselves with button combinations, other ones required gamesharks. But even those were fun. I remember fucking around with Pokemon GSC and putting on multiple encounter codes at once, so I'd get something like a Sneasel with Ho-Oh's color pallete and Pidgey's moveset.
