It has like no features unless you're a fit junkie, and even then there are cheaper options

I just bought my dad the Samsung s3 frontier smart watch for 300 quid. And he hasnt even worn it once.

I played with it for a few hours, it really is kinda shit. Why not just use your phone for most of the stuff anyway?

yeah I mean if you're in a situation where you can't use your phone, you probably wouldn't be able to use your watch either. Plus the iPhone is faster than the watch and the apps are extremely gimped versions, you'll end up looking at that message/tweet/photo on your iPhone anyway so whats the point

Not sure how a ~$300 watch is considered a status symbol.

My fianc has one (series 3) and I've entertained the idea of getting a Samsung Gear Sport to pair with my S8+. They both just look like something I'd shoe off at a party one night, then throw it back in the box.

My fucking tissot prs200 watch was 350 quid. And it stopped moving, 5 days after the 2 year warranty expired.

Fuck.

I got one for the GF for Christmas and she really loves it. It doesn't seem as rude when she looks at her watch instead of pulling out her phone while talking to patients. :D
