...you get the OHKO finisher for zombies who fell down or are mid-climb. You can just stand on a car and silently (kinda) murder most of the horde. Too bad it's a Lv9 skill for some reason.

I mean if you just throw generic in front of anything you can just make it sound lame. Especially telling since you're saying that off one screenshot with nothing else to go off of.

Anyway, I saw my roommate playing it for a while but he stopped and said it started to get boring in the higher levels.

I haven't played enough of the game to really tell you if it's generic or not. You can unlock safe zones, steal airdrop supplies from the evil faction, wander around killing stuff, do missions and challenges, online co-op, scavenge, etc. Plus, if you do things at night, when the really bad zombies come out and it's pitch dark, you get double the experience. It's actually pretty fun...after you get some levels on you. Oh, and a gun.

It does get less interesting once you become more capable of killing. A lot of the fun was having to scrape by and survival.

Perhaps, but it is more than the sum of its parts.

This really feels like the type of game that gets better in co-op, when you can have someone watch your back while you open valves, lockpick cars, etc.
