If they can apply and get in through their merits and skills? Sure.

Should we have diversity visas going out to shitholes because for some reason the shithole isn't sending enough skilled immigrants? Absolutely not.

No. When the number of Americans living in poverty is zero, when the number of homeless Americans is zero, we can talk about bringing in the dregs of the third world to support. We have enough charity cases in this country already. Why don't we address the problems we already have instead of importing more?

No I don't. Because people can froth at the mouth over it all they want. But standards lacking, backwards, shithole countries result in standards lacking, backwards, shithole citizens. Skin color having nothing to do with it.
And we want these people coming into our country why again? Because of some bs morality excuse about taking the poor in?

Then why don't we focus on our own jobless and homeless. Our own screwed up poverty stricken parts of our country and the people in them.

Fix that and then we can start trying to help other people.

Lots of great points being made here.

As usual, it seems like Trump's statements are in line with how most Americans think. What we need is a leader who is unafraid to say what needs to be said and isn't afraid of hurting people's feelings. He's doing a great job.
