Conservatives typically are of the mindset to save money. I'm not saying that all liberals spend too much, but many outspoken liberal celebrities set examples by spending all of their money. I'm talking about musicians and athletes, for the most part.

When the population rises, however, the free-spenders who put their paycheck directly into the economy can be helpful.

Political ideology has very little to do with stinginess. Depends far more on education, intelligence, and income. People who are able to save money understand the value of a dollar a lot better than people stuck living paycheck to paycheck. A windfall is going to vanish because the latter is finally able to indulge or pay off old debts.

The unfortunate reality with these situations is that people close to the kid will start looking at him like a piggy bank. I hope he invests in his education and learns to cut out anyone who tries to exploit him, but his youth makes him an easy mark.
