Haven't seen too much about this on the board, despite it being a pretty big deal, but whatever. Long and short of it is (assuming Intel CPUs,) 2016 and newer CPUs will have single digit performance losses on Windows 10, with older chips having more noticeable slowdown. If you're not on Windows 10, you're almost certain to notice a slowdown. More than a little peeved that my i7 I bought in the last year is impacted at all, doubly so because a patch is just a band-aid and the only real fix is to wait for new hardware to be developed and buy it.
