It's literally why I don't play Halo 5 anymore.

I don't like having my Xbox always online, but every time I want to play the game I have a huge ass fucking install and just say forget it.

I feel like GTA V/Online would be the same thing except I play on PC now.

Remember when games were like 8 gigs last gen. Fallout 3/NV have more content than most games released nowadays and are a fraction of the size.

Hell, Persona is like 5 times the length of most games, on the first play through alone, and its 20 gigs

Like, I assume more maps but I don't notice *that* many maps.

Of course, I go six months between times I actually play the fucking game.

From what I've seen, casuals don't care much.

Halo fans/boys care in the sense that they LOVE to bitch about how Halo isn't Halo anymore.

It's also kind of cute how there is this 50/50 split on how everyone either wants classic Halo back just because they love it, or because they are delusional and think it will make Halo king again even though clearly trends have moved on.

Seems odd to want a favored series to be "king" of the FPS genre by this point, since the genre is just about dead. Or beyond dead, with its corpse paraded around on the reg.

I do, Halo is my favourite FPS. But I only care about the story/campaign mode.

Halo 5 and Rise of the Tomb Raider are why I bought an Xbox One.
