I feel like Uncharted Lost Legacy finally got the system right.

Linear, mix with open world treasure hunting, and then back to linear again.

I feel like Lost Legacy had a better flow and more things to do. Uncharted 4 had a big open environment with nothing to do, but it felt like Naughty Dog was just trying to do something different with 4. They weren't able to perfect the system until Lost Legacy, but now the series is basically over.

I haven't played LL yet, so glad to hear it's great. I thought the series improved with each installment. With 2 being great and 3 and 4 being even better. One of my favorite franchises.

Uncharted isn't a series that needs open world treasure hunting. LL definitely improved on 4's gameplay, but the series peaked with 2 & 3. The stealth in both 4 and LL was broken.
