I know this is going to sound cliche and you've heard it a million times but honestly is the best way for you practice your own research and filter out the bias and grasp what sort of technology you're putting capital into - but I strongly encourage you to read the white paper there's so much good stuff in it too that people aren't going to sum up for you in a forum post either.

To those interested in the masternode thing. To my understanding, some coins require you to set up a VPS to host. Theyre usually like $5 a month then you put in your masternode details and done.

Its not as easy as that of course. Its really technical thing. Hopefully, over time, it becomes easier because looking at the videos on YouTube... man, but I think it will be worth it in the end.

A coin like COLX requires 10 million coins, but CRAVE requires 500 coins. Basically the more time goes on and coins get more expensive the more expensive it will be in the future to become a masternode. Its the same idea as staking, but you get a bigger reward for help hosting. Your computer has to stay on 24 hrs however because you are pretty much the back bone of that coin. Think of it as renting vs buying a house.

A coin like CRAVE generates a passive income of $3000 worth of crave coins a month based on current CRAVE prices. Its not based off of computer power just the amount of coins you have.

Unless your computer is some super high tech energy hog I dont see the issue. People usually leave their computers on anyways.

A booming altcoin scene is good for ETH because most small coins run on the Ethereum blockchain. They help each other.

This coin gets a lot of hate so most here will say no but I believe itll still rise again in the future. Maybe wont moon as much as some people thought, but it will keep rising. Its been slowly increasing over the last couple days now.
