And King's Shiled?
I've played this thing 700 hours and I still can't tell for sure how this works. And what are Prompto, Gladious, and Ignis, as well as Cor? ... Copied to Clipboard!

Especially since at the end of the game when leading Noct through Insomnia they wear Kingslaive, but have Crownsguard (personally made ones) at start.

Kingsglaive is a military unit made up of refugees from the other regions, with access to borrowed magic through the kings power. You play a member of this in Comrades, and of course theyre the focus of the Kingsglaive movie.
Crownsguard seems to be the personal guards of the royal family. Gladio, Ignis, and Prompto are Nocts. Kings Shield I assume is the leader of the Crownsguard, or at least a special position within it. I think Cor may be a former one of these from Regiss younger days. --- JonThePenguin http://www.backloggery.com/main.php?user=erunion ... Copied to Clipboard!

Cause Gladious's father was leader of KS, but he wasn't in Regis's Retinue. Cor, Cid, and that guy in Altissia (Markham?) were. And KS is a family thing, at least the leader part. As for KG, so it didn't exist at all before Niffleheim started taking over? What the hell was Lucis's army previous to that then? ... Copied to Clipboard!
