Had my molar pulled yesterday, I was just looking at the docket in the mirror and I don't really see a clot. I see white in the socket, that might be from the gauze (I just had some in my mouth before looking but doubt that could do it).

I've been in so much damn pain recently, I don't know if I can go through dry socket on top of all of it.

Go back to your dentist, they put a little thingy in it with medicine on it and the pain will be gone in a second

>_>

A couple of years ago I had three dry sockets at the same time. I had to drive 82 miles in the pain. That drive was the worst thing ever.

What do you expect from $20 dentist

$40. But it's at a really high end dental clinic.

I've always stuck a bunch of gauze in the wound and smoked softly. I don't smoke cigarettes so I only smoked a few times since it came out.

Should I do it before the pain starts or wait and see? Right now I have no pain.

How often do you get teeth pulled that you've developed a fucking system for this?

4 wisdom teeth. But they were all pulled at different times, not in the same visit.

49 hours since extraction. I'm sore, goes from my jaw into my temple. It's not crazy painful, just a nagging pain.

The part that fucking sucks though is I have had absolutely no energy for the last 24 hours. I woke up at 9am today, went back to sleep at 930 until 130 and then again from 3 until 630. And if it wasn't for the fact that I had things to do tonight I would probably still be sleeping (only reason I woke up at 630 was because I was woken up).

I doubt you have dry socket.

I had a molar pulled 3 weeks ago and had nagging pain/soreness for 2 weeks. Now it feels mostly normal and pain free now though. The first 3 days are the worst.
