id Software. Although, no one that founded it is there anymore. But reading the journals, and history of id Software, and how John Carmack and John Remero etc. built their legacy during their nights after work. Carmack's amazing contrubition to the development of home PC 3D rendering (Tanks/Catacombs/Wolfenstein -> Doom -> Quake etc.)

I'm angry there hasn't been a simulator type game for Gundam yet. MechWarrior is the closest we've got, and that's slow BattleTech American tank robots. I have a really fancy joystick on the hopes that before I die there will be a MechWarrior 4 level-sim Gundam game.

1st person with spending time in the bay carefully adding heatsinks and weapon coordination to avoid energy management problems. I'm the kind of guy that spends 3 hours tweaking a vehicle in Gran Turismo and 1 hour racing, and then 3 more hours tweaking.

Hopefully ya played Armored Core back in its Playstation 2 days. They have all that sort of stuff. I played "Silent Line" quite a lot. In an online setting though.... something like Hawken would be the only thing I can think of besides Mech Warrior that has any customization.

I played Armored Core a little bit. Tons of Mechwarrior though, (2, 4, Online). MWO was a lot of fun when I dropped with a clan (mostly all US military veterans, very coordinated group), but it didn't completely satisfy the desire I got as a wide-eyed kid watching Gundam Wing and 0083.
