I'm pretty open to types of burger so long as they get the basics right:

- good quality bun, preferably brioche, toasted on the inside
- desirable ratio of meat to veg/cheese/condiments
- if it has cheese, let it be melted
- everything is contained in the diameter of the bun
- edible size. I don't care for burgers that are so big you can't feasibly eat them unless you're literally a snake

So just on a visual basis I'd say this is a good burger:

chargrilled angus, melted cheddar, onions, lettuce, brioche bun. light on the mayo, light on the mustard, turkey bacon, optionally light on the bbq sauce or ketchup, though i've had some burgers with beef+bun+veggies so flawless and fresh that they required no condiments at all.
