Say someone have a pretty well paying job, but things like rent is one of the major things stopping them from focusing on the things they really want to invest their time in. So they say, "fuck it" and decide to live out of their SUV, get a gym membership to shower and maybe spend a day or two with friends who are willing to let them stay. All until they've saved up enough money to where they feel like they're financially comfortable. Could somebody really live like that? I'm in pharmacy school and I just did it to try it out. I enjoyed it. Kinda miss it actually. I ate a lot of fast food. Generally $3 a meal. Tried to keep it under $15 for food a day. But my college has a fridge and microwave in the loungue. Could have used that. --- David Mink. He tries to contribute as much as he can (groceries or cash). His trunk isn't available for hauling stuff though. It's very clean and he keeps his clean clothes folded and stacked next to a hamper for dirty laundry. He keeps his toiletries and essentials in little dopp kit. He';s been crashing with friends off and on for years. He's unemployed right now, but that's not usually the case.
