So admittedly, none of the documentation on this is exceptionally high quality, because once Cesareans became relatively safe for the mother and reasonably accessible, no one with the resources to do proper documentation was going to let a rectal delivery happen, and for some reason nobodys ever sunk a lot of money into assbaby research.

That said, if you go back far enough in the medical literature, there are more documented cases than you might expect, some of them pretty trustworthy.
