I don't know why people care that much. it seems like a pretty blatant attempt to hop on the success of GoT and The Witcher doesn't even have all that great of source material to begin with.

Obviously I'm hoping for the best but expecting mediocrity.

SJWs whined about how there were no black people in The Witcher. The devs actually wrote a really long article on what The Witcher means to Polish people and how SJWs forcing their cultural expectation on them was actually very bigoted.

But Netflix is an American company so there will be no Polish people to call them out this time.

Oh no, they might put someone in there who isn't white! I could get behind the story with all the dragons, monsters, potions, and magic but having a black guy!?!? That's just too far man, totally unrealistic.

1 sucks on a mechanics level
2 also sucks mechanically but is much better than 1
3 is the first time they actually had solid mechanics for the game.

Honestly I wouldn't bother with either and just play 3 or maybe 2. 1 is nothing more than a foundation that good games were built on after.

I hate telling people to skip W1 but it really isn't that good gameplay-wise so I agree, maybe just watch a youtube video on it? W2 is fine and of course W3 is awesome.

Don't hold your breath on anything related to the Uncharted movie. It's been in development hell since like 2009 when U2 came out. People have signed on and backed out repeatedly, casting rumors have gone all over the place, at one point I think Seth Rogan and that other dude he does writing with were going to be involved and Mark Walhberg was rumored to play Drake.
There's also supposedly a Last of Us movie that's supposed to happen as well that was announced somewhat shortly after it came out.

I doubt they'll ever actually see the light of day though tbh. The only potential I could see is possibly an animated movie but even then it's doubtful imo. But then again you've got Sony putting out shit like the emoji movie so they're not afraid to scrape the bottom of the barrel for ideas.

Part of the reason I don't see it panning out is because like every other video game adaptation it would probably suck ass and tarnish the name of Naughty Dog who is kind of Sony's premiere wholly-owned subsidiary studio that's a legitimate system seller for some people. And they realize their time is better spent on games.

Plus there's the fact that not only does Indiana Jones exist, there's already been 2, about to be 3 knock off Indiana Jones game movies with the Tomb Raider movies. There's really no reason to make it.
