Right now we have a plague doctor and a vastal to rename, though characters are female just post if you want to be named one. Only Reynauld and Dismis will not be renamed.

The quest begins!

In our first encounter, we destroyed some skeletons with easy!

In the next, sauceje took a critical hit, putting them close to death, but in the end we pulled through with a little bit of damage to the party. (and found out I didn't enable the mod :^)

Reynauld got a crit to finish off the last guy, but everyone did well!

risk management. you probably died to the croc in the crimson court even though it warns you it says apprentice but it is a bit harder.

knowing what debuffs to use in which places help (i.e. blight in ruins and cove, bleed in weald and warren.)

and a run down was a couple of small fights that the heroes dominated, until the last one when we had some TEMPTING GOBLETS thrown at us along with STRESSFUL INCANTATIONS so now popcorn fairy and boris will have to relieve some stress

imo most damage debuffs are not useful vs enemies, except against the formless flesh

stun, however, is priceless.

the most priceless thing of all is rapid damage to enemy backline with high speed heroes. teams with hellion and graverobber will do very well against the back.

enemy frontline can be fucked with, stunned rapidly by hellion's yawp, or pushed behind a wall of corpses to slow down their attacks while you heal what little damage they did

backline will simply make. you. insane.

if you get a hellion give it yawp, if it bleeds, iron swan and wicked hack, and name it after me. then stack initiative on it like no tomorrow.

i would also accept a graverobber that uses lunge.

they had it coming, although bandits without the fatboy is a tough break

rule#1 of darkest dungeon is don't bring the leper

frontline raw damage is useless since you can't delay with one enemy left

my favorite team has 0 primary healers because it needs almost 0 healing. on guard on all heroes.

hellion (front) man at arms crusader grave robber

GR lunge to slot 2. dead position 3.

man at arms rampart against position 2. knocked to position 3 and stunned. moved to position 2, GR to 3.

crusader holy lance to position 3 or 4, depending on threat level. usually 4. dead 4.

hellion if it bleeds/swan if needed to finish 4. otherwise yawp.

enemies get no turns and the line order is fully reset.

turn 2 GR lunge kills enemy in position 3 if it's threatening there, otherwise 1. crusader heals/stress heals, hellion yawps if position 1 remains or bleeds position 3, man at arms uses defender to cover whoever winds up in the remaining monster's range if yawp failed, otherwise he uses bolster.

turn 3 party focus fires on remaining monster and it dies.

total attacks taken = 2

often youll heal for more despite following the creators' intent of moving fast

(back) Arbalest, Hound Master, Bounty Hunter, Flagellent (front)

arbalest gives stacking heals to those low on hp, flagellent takes bleeds and blights to constantly either heal others or put a huge bleed on enemies, hound master dodges and protects people, and if not that then marks for prot debuff, BH debuffs, stuns, or marks.

i've seen some amazing crits and even doing long advanced dungeons have not come close to losing someone... yet

we were ambushed at night and you took like 1 good hit then just started getting fucked up by crits

i know that team. it's the mark team. and i dont love your version of it. hellion works MUCH better as a frontline for it, and the usual mark-slam-slam strategy is very effective against everything, esp bosses

also you should NEVER rest without someone using the 'cannot be ambushed' skill, they made night ambushes so bad that if you dont have someone with that skill youre better off not sleeping at all

it's probably a good thing i enjoy playing the game my own way, and enjoy my team comp. i don't care what "works better" i'll figure stuff out as i play and enjoy my own runs
