I guess it's a dig at Kwanzaa but I mean if you want to criticize Kwanzaa it's easy.

Kwanzaa was created by a Black Power figure in 1966. It isn't based on any African holidays in December, probably because they don't exist.

"During the early years of Kwanzaa, Karenga said that it was meant to be an alternative to Christmas, that Jesus was psychotic, and that Christianity was a white religion that black people should shun."

Specifically created as an anti-white, and Christophobic alternative to Christmas.

LOL revisionist history much? The "alt-right" was a left wing bogeyman created by Hillary Clinton to try and win the 2016 election by branding everyone who disagreed with her as a white supremacist. Which is ironic, given her ties to Robert Byrd. It's just like the whole "birther" conspiracy she made up back in 2008 to try and beat Obama. "Alt-right" is not and never was a "movement" because it's not even a thing.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/08/25/opinions/hillary-clinton-alt-right-speech-stanley/index.html

There were two big winners in Hillary Clinton's speech on the alt-right. One was Hillary Clinton, who was able to present herself as the opponent of a neo-racist movement. The other was the alt-right, which hardly anyone had ever heard of and which got some free advertising.

Let's look at Google trends-

https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%205-y&q=alt-right

Yup, the "alt-right" wasn't a thing until Hillary Clinton invented it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alt-right#Ties_to_white_nationalism

White supremacist[1][49][50][51] Richard Spencer coined the term in 2010 in reference to a movement centered on white nationalism and has been accused by some media publications of doing so to excuse overt racism, white supremacism and neo-Nazism.[2][4][52][53][54] Spencer has described the alt-right as identity politics for white Americans and for Europeans around the world".[55]

While the label of white nationalism is disputed by some political commentators including Allum Bokhari and Milo Yiannopoulos,[56] alt-right figures such as Andrew Anglin of neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer and Marcus Halberstram of Fash the Nation have embraced the term as the core philosophy their movement is based on.[57][58] In response to a Washington Post article that portrayed the movement as "offensiveness for the sake of offensiveness", Anglin said: "No it isn't. The goal is to ethnically cleanse White nations of non-Whites and establish an authoritarian government. Many people also believe that the Jews should be exterminated".[59][60]

Kwanzaa was created for morally bankrupt reasons first and foremost and has no basis in any African holiday. It's as fake as you can get and for all the worst reasons.

You could say parts of Christmas as it's practiced today, were "designed" by pagan heathens. The Christmas tree, wreath, and yule log are holdovers from the pagan Yule festival. The Yule festival in turn has roots in late Neolithic and Bronze Age peoples recognizing the significance of the Winter solstice in Northern Hemisphere.

"The winter solstice was immensely important because the people were economically dependent on monitoring the progress of the seasons. Starvation was common during the first months of the winter, January to April (northern hemisphere) or July to October (southern hemisphere), also known as "the famine months". In temperate climates, the midwinter festival was the last feast celebration, before deep winter began. Most cattle were slaughtered so they would not have to be fed during the winter, so it was almost the only time of year when a plentiful supply of fresh meat was available. The majority of wine and beer made during the year was finally fermented and ready for drinking at this time."

Christmas has a long history.

Alt-right are racists morons, but the media has managed to label some of the counter-narrative commentators as part of that same group. That's the only thing of consequence that Hillary did in the election. Wrongly, but it stuck. The best political commentary is coming from the right these days, or what used to be "classical liberals".

He's quite clearly not. An uber partisan trump cheerleader, sure, but to lump him in with the dude who ran someone over with his car is pretty silly. The only people who seem to self identify as alt right anymore are actual racists. The people who who adopted it early on out of partisan hackery have pretty much left it behind. But hey, if you have an example of him saying that recently by all means, do share.

What an absurd case of whataboutism.

It's a counterpoint by revealing a double-standard. That's valid.

Naturally one might point out that comedians are given leeway with their jokes, but we all know that isn't true in current year 2017. They're policed by moral busybodies constantly, especially if the joke refers to recognized racial trends.

Racist jokes, are still racist and indicative of an evil person, as everyone is quick to say. What it comes down to really is that only blacks are allowed to talk about blacks. Is that reasonable? Is that racist in itself? And considering that any minority is allowed or even encouraged by the far left to spread hate speech about whites... well, the double-standards and low expectations are in very high quantity.

I'd say that society is more "right" than what the media presents. Media creates distortions with the average citizen. The TV land Democrat utopia is a place that exists in 2 or 3 metro areas in the country. You step 30 minutes out of a big city and you see the real people, for better or worse. Same thing up here in Canada. People sometimes make the joke about self-centred big city people, and that idea totally exists. You can't talk to a 21 year old born and raised Toronto girl about politics without shaking your head and laughing at the lunacy.

Like with anything, people like to hear a voice they agree with. And I happen to find right wing pundits and comedians much funnier and interesting when it comes to talking about politics and culture. I just want to see people say their piece and not have to answer to a blogger with short pink hair or a mainstream cable news pundit because they offended 1 person in a room of 200.
