Debatable. If you think that you race has a specific right to control a specific portion of land that they didn't originate on, it's sort of leads to a whole lot of other issues that are not compatible with an egalitarian ideal.

The problem is an absolutely warped view of race. They define white as pure blooded white, whereas anyone who has even a drop of non-northern European blood is considered other. It doesn't matter if you are 90% white, if you have one drop of non-white blood, you are 'mixed' and therefore fall into the same category as minorities.

Secondly, there is nothing to 'preserve'. Cultures don't exist in a vacuum. The cultures they hold dear are actually amalgamations of other cultures that mixed over the years. I often take England as an example.

In prehistoric times, the islands were settled by Celts. Then you have the Romans. Then you have Saxons, the Angles, and the Jutes. Then you have the Danes and the Norweigan. Then you have the French (Normans) under William the Bastard/Conqueror (who gave many of the cities their modern names and was legendarily descended from the Danish raider Rollo). Then, during the colonial era, you have a mass influx of Asians, Africans, Indians, and some New Worlders. So why is white British culture defined at an arbitrary mid-20th century cut off? America is no different.

The fact is that the majority of major cultures in the world today are either amalgamations of many different cultures that evolved out of waves of immigration or are actually further subdivided so much that most outsiders can't even tell them apart (such as the 47 or so ethnic groups in China).

Then you run into the problem that they don't understand what they are 'preserving'. Do you do the exact same things as your parents? Have the same traditions? Same technology? Same hobbies? Of course not. Even looking from generation to generation there are some massive differences. If tradition and culture are really the most important thing, why aren't they also campaigning against things like the internet or modern cars or modern medicine? It is demonstrable that when they say culture and traditions, they are simply just conveniently accepting the changes they want to, and condemning any that originated from any other place. It's very thinly veiled xenophobia.

They control the media, especially outlets like the BBC, where they always give way too much undue attention to any matters related to race or religion. They want to create this atmosphere of xenophobia. The "Us Vs. Them" mentality. So, they can increase the support for the far-right and garner support for US interests in the Middle East. No one's "invading" Europe.

So we are supposed to preserve ALL of those? Because I don't know if fit into any of them. I'm white, but aside from that I don't have a cultural identity. My parents are just "white" and they aren't biological parents. I don't even know who those are and don't have any like... DNA information or whatever. What am I supposed to do? I know you're speaking in general terms, but if I'm going to be expected to contribute to your preservation efforts, I'm going to need to know how to do so specifically, because right now I feel like I'm in a big room with a bunch of people all running around doing stuff and I'm just standing there being all "wtf what am I supposed to be doing? I was just told to show up and wasn't given any further details."

For instance, I am Italian. I would always like the vast history of my people, the food, culture, language, the land, identity, pride, and way of life to be preserved.
