If you're getting it on sale tbh there's a ton of value. I wouldn't pay more than $20 for 2.8 but I had no problem justifying $40 for 1.5 + 2.5

Yes. That's all the games and cutscenes that come with each collection

1 and 2 are the Final Mix cuts so there are some differences (reskins, balances, more content etc) from the originals

1.5 + 2.5 are the base games just made better. It's the one you want if you just want to play 1 and 2

If you mean the non-Final Mix versions of 1, 2, and Birth by Sleep, then no. "Final Mix" is just the definitive versions of those games, you're missing nothing by not playing the originals.

The only ones that have cutscenes instead of the games are 358/2 Days, RE:Coded, and some mobile game. Judging from reviews...there's a reason why they only made them into cutscenes for the collections.

Yes. You get the upgraded editions of them with extra content (that were only available in Japan). In addition, you get multiple other games plus movies. For $20, it is one of the greatest deals in video game history.

It is, but I wish it were on PC. I don't want to buy a PS4 just for them, even thought I really want to play them. I played the first game when it came out and most of the second game when that came out as well.

The PS4 version of this collection is also in 60 fps, which is pretty awesome. (Putting the games in 60 fps caused a few problems at first, but most of the issues has been patched out by now).

KH 1 and 2 are the Final Mixes aka the directors cut/revised remastered versions. It also comes with the 3D ps2 version of Chain of Memories, and the PSP Birth by Sleep, both with remastered graphics. It has cutscene compliations for Re:Coded and 358/2 Days, the two games on DS.
