The way things were going downward was really nice as opposed to the whole "save the day" bullshit. Everything pretty much fell the fuck apart. Mace murdered. The Jedi genocide. The Federation massacre. Yoda and Obi Wan hiding like bitches. Sidious duping everyone and getting all their support and creating an empire. It felt Star Wars to me. TLJ, as I've said many times before, felt like a minor filler episode of Star Trek or Stargate sprinkled with some Doctor Who (gambling planet). --- It all just disappears, doesn't it? Arguably better than 6 almost entirely because of the storyline. But again as with the other prequels the special effects plus some of the dialogue (at least much less in this case) were pretty fucking detrimental to overall enjoyment.
