I stopped midway through season three. I disliked the way they were handling the prison arc, especially Michonne and Andrea.

I stopped as soon as it was clear that Daryl would survive everything.

I think seasons 4 and 5 were the peak of the show (ignoring the hospital arc).

This season is an improvement over last year but overall it's been forgettable IMO. I question why I still watch it.

Daryls not the problem. The problem is they started to give these single whole episodes to shitty characters like Abraham and sasha and tara and eugine. They were just dragging it for commericial money then.

Back in season 1. You actually feel like the story was moving. The sense of urgency and danger n stuff. And more fast paced.

Now they had the balls to cliff hang the baseball bat scene from the end of a season to another. I stopped watching shortly after.

The walking dead used to be my favorite show. Now I dont care at all. I just read spoilers when ever possible.

Damn, seems like the show went downhill. I never really watched it that much, but everyone I know who was crazy about it a few years ago has also stopped watching.

I stopped at some point and have absolutely no desire to pick it back up.

I liked everything up to and including the episode where the zombies invaded Alexandria in season 6. It definitely hit its peak sometime before then, but to me that was the last great moment. Then the next episode was godawful and it just kept getting worse from there.

I think the show worked best when they were just wandering around trying to survive. They shifted the focus to something else entirely now. It's easy to forget that it's even a show about zombies anymore.

Yeah instead we get these episodes about sasha and morgan and carol wondering about the meaning of life. All these crappy "Ohhh i dont know you anymore", "Ohhh you've changed, ohhh you never used to be like this".

I mean, fuck off. Just get on with the fucking story. If sasha wants to die then let her go. If morgan thinks killing is bad in the middle of a zombie apocalyse then he can fuck off else where.

Instead of a 'different' TV show about zombies, we get more Eastenders or Coronation Street.
