These topics always get me all up in my feelings. CE can be a uhh... difficult?? place at times. But seeing the generosity that comes out in these kind of topics is is really nice.

I see you have a lot of time put into the Baldur's Gate games. You might want to also check out Planescape Torment or the Icewind Dale games, they may be up your alley.

I also see a lot of time put into the Don't Starve games. I believe that Flame in the Flood is a similar type of game and is supposed to be decent. In fact I think I have a spare copy I can gift you if you're interested.

thanks bud! been looking forward to getting that one for awhile. i think i gotta go back and finish Baldur's Gate 2 before i go into any other CRPGs though. i should do that soon, BG1 was a great game and what i played so far of 2 was even better. i don't even remember why i stopped playing it lol.

It can be easy to get a bit of burn out on games as long as BG1 and BG2. Especially having played them back to back.

Not long ago, I played through both of them using the Trilogy mod to port BG1EE and SoD into BG2EE to make for one more continuous experience. I also used some mods like Ascension to make ToB more complete, which helped me look forward to it since I hadn't played with that mod before.

Thanks for pointing this out. Sometimes I'll gift someone if they haven't gotten something yet, and I could easily see passing up Sparksfanboy (since he was gifted at least one game) and gifting GOATTHIEF (since the username shows no gifts on the Google doc) without realizing it's the same user.

Now I'm going to have to be more cautious on who I gift to.

how does the Steam mobile authenticator work?

i used it yesterday, but when i try to put collector cards on sale, it still gives me that "sale reserved for 15 days cause you haven't used the authenticator in 7 days"

The mobile authenticator's instant trading/selling doesn't go into effect until 7 days after you've activated it. Until then you'll get the usual 15 days to trade/sell.
