something i have noticed about people around me. the guys who were/are more of the nerdy types are ending up with Asian women and the ones who were more the popular jockish types end up with non-asian women.

I only see this with nerds who meet Asian women abroad. Otherwise that shit doesn't happen much, since Western Asian women don't particularly like being fetishized

Because they're the ones trying the hardest to get with an Asian girl and are more likely to make good money which tends to be the standard they expect out of a man in order to give them a chance.
