So, did anything creepy ever happened to you? Something spooky, weird, scary? Me, quite a few scary things happened to me. Warning, there's mentions of illness, death and suicide in there.

- When I was maybe 4 or 5, I had a TV in my bedroom when I was visiting my dad. It was an old one and eventually, it started to turn on by itself, and the sound would go up and down by itself too.

- I had a few musical toys and stuff like that that would activate by themselves too.

- I used to sleepwalk, so I woke up in weird places a few times.

- There was a bear in my backyard once. I saw it only when I opened the door. I never closed a door faster than that time.

- When I was 6, I was supposed to go at my best friend's house for a weekend during Summer, but I ended up not going because I was sick. I never saw her again. Later, I learned that during that weekend, her father killed her then he killed himself. I can't help but wonder what would've happened if I didn't got sick that weekend.

- One day, four years ago, I found a strange lump on my throat. Turned out to be thyroid cancer. The doctor surgically removed my thyroid gland. Because of complications, I was on the operating table 2 hours longer than planned, and I had to stay at the hospital 7 days instead of the 3 or so days for this kind of surgery.

So, did anything scary ever happened to you?

Pretty sure there was...something in the house we stayed at when I was 6th grade. Home alone, first time I was pretty sure I saw someone duck into the bathroom. Checked and no one there.

Then another time I was sure I saw something out of the corner of my eye get thrown under the couch. Again I checked and nothing.

That sucks man, f*** cancer.
I legit think I have early signs of schizophrenia.

Some of the things that's happened to me.

Woke up went to work one day and everyone's eyes were like lizard eyes with slits. I legit thought the whole conspiracy was real. I now just try to tell myself I was just hallucinating. Not only that but before that day I had been watching lots of conspiracy videos in the weeks prior to that.

One time I was at a restaurant eating and I was so sure that evil entities were surrounding the restaurant and looking for me. I then turned to the television and started seeing people on the screen morph into aliens. I told my mom we had to leave before they got here.

One time I felt so full of energy and litterally felt invincible like I was superman or something. I thought it was god lending me his power and I thought he was lending me his power to defend the planet earth.

I hear voices in my head from time to time.
I mostly forget about what they say. Most of the time it's just things that don't make sense but other times it does makes sense which freaks me out. I also hear voices from people I know even though they are not present.

I could go on and on

One time I was at a local neighborhood pool as a kid with my family and I noticed a random white dude standing/swimming in place in the water intensely staring at me. He was looking straight at me, and then he even swam a little closer. Hard to describe if you weren't there but it was a really creepy stare. Well a few years later I either heard or read a story that a known pedophile was caught with a boy staying at his house (somehow - I don't remember the specifics) and it was in my neighborhood. I guess I don't definitively know, but I always thought it was probably that same dude I saw in the pool.

It doesn't compare to that but also my family spoiled me with traveling when I was a kid and we went to Europe a lot. First time I was ever in Paris at about ten years old we walked by those painter guys who just stand near tourist spots and draw your portrait for money (not caricatures - this was Paris after all - they did lifelike drawings) and there was this one Asian painter dude who stopped my family walking and INSISTED that he be able to draw me right there on the street. And he said he would do it for free but that he had to be able to draw me. Funny thing is how my family when I told them about this again a couple years ago reminiscing - they didn't even remember. But it stuck with me because the dude was super insistent and tried to plead with my family for a minute or two. I'm not saying the guy was trying to be creepy or anything, but as a kid I thought it was...off.

I just remembered this one. I'm a skeptic and don't believe it was really anything supernatural, but coincidences or not it's still pretty spooky.

My two older siblings and I all had the same dream when we were younger around the same time (we didn't find out until we discussed it later on). In the dream there was a lady trying to get into the car and just being crazy trying to get to us, so someone slammed the door and her hand got caught. We kept trying to close the door with her hand still jammed in it, slamming it over and over. We drove off and I distinctly remember driving past a spot that didn't have any of the stores that were built until later on IRL, but in the dream they were already there, or at least similar enough to the real life versions present day that it creeps me out when I remember it. There were just a lot of empty lots at the time. Also the day after my sister had the dream she got a Wonder Woman action figure, one of the big sturdy ones like Barbie, and its hand randomly fell off...

>Be me as a young child
>Playing video games in ex-stepfather's home
>Sitting next to big window looking out onto backyard
>Look out and see a person in a large blue radiation-hazard-type suit trudge through the backyard and around the corner of the house

I never saw where they went because I had bolted to the basement by that point. Nothing ever seemed to come from it, as far as I know.

I have a similar experience. This happened when I was 13. One day in the Summer, my cousin asked me if I wanted to hang out and stay the night at his house. I can't quite remember why I said no, but the next morning, a man who used to babysit us when we were younger stopped by his house and asked to use the phone. As my cousin reached for the phone, he snapped and stabbed my cousin 5 times, one being in the neck, (My cousin did survive the attack). I also can't help and wonder what would have happened if I went over the night before.
