So I finally bought a scale and I'm fatter (read: heavier) than I expected so I'm gonna do something about it.

I'm 6'1'' and 230lbs. I mostly drink water but I'm gonna crack down and not get soda/tea while at restaurants. Going to introduce cardio first and foremost and drop my calorie intake. Well, start tracking it and then drop it. Is MyFitnessPal good?

Mostly interested in losing weight. Stomach sticking out too much. I've been a bad boy when it comes to taking care of myself. Help me.

How are you holding yourself responsible for actually continuing to work out? A lot of it is motivation.

That just means you will move the scale later. Get someone to hold you accountable.
