Victoria was definitely my favorite match for Ted when she was first introduced. She kind of lost some of her appeal when she reappeared but the writers probably did intentional character assassination so that we would move on from her and be on board the mother train when Tracy (do I still need to spoiler that? If so, would I need to spoiler tag the fact that he gets with Robin or that he doesn't get with Victoria...?) shows up.

Such utter horseshit. I hate when writers split up characters for no damn reason just to shake things up. Theyre such a great couple and its just a fucking terrible thing to do to those character and it makes me hate Lily. Alyson Hannigan cant act so her character is on thin ice enough as it is.

Let's be real; no one fit Ted's MO. He would get with people who were relatively compatible and then nitpick and bully them into conforming to his ridiculous idea of a perfect marriage. When they finally buckled, he'd come up with some reason to break their heart and dump them, only to chase after them at least once more when they moved on and were happy. He even pulled his on Barney despite literally unfriending Barney from his life for Barney going after his ex.

He was already sort of a jerk through the series, but the final season just cemented him as a selfish, hypocritical sociopath.

I just really wish that they didn't do the last two seasons if they were really going to stick with the ending they planned out. It really didn't work after that point, especially after the last season which triggered the hell out of me because why the hell did they think it was a good idea to spend an entire season on a fan-preferred couple getting married only to have them divorce halfway through the finale?
