I personally found the porgs and the crystal foxes to be pretty cool. The porgs were cutesy but SW has always had some of that. I'm tired of SW fans selectively acknowledging or not certain aspects of the saga. I liked them. I thought it was great entertainment. I preferred TFA, but TLJ was a great time at the movies.
