Board 8 > Finally saw Rogue One one year late!

It was pretty good! Much better than I expected and more enjoyable than Force Awakens. I really enjoyed that the empire actually felt like this diabolical regime and you get a greater sense of the conflict between them and the rebellion. The ending with everyone dying was great. Also, the ending with Vadar was insanely awesome when he's going down the corridor. It was pretty amazing seeing everyone panic and more or less accept they are going to die.

In general though the characters lacked personality besides Alan Tudyk and the blind force user. Throughout the movie I kept thinking of the Red Letter media skit where they ask people to describe characters from the original triology then lob in 'Qui Gon Jin' and other not developed characters. Still pretty good movie though.

The third act is amazing. The initial act with the planet cuts over and over was a bit meh.
