It gets you drunk with almost no taste and the cranberry juice cleans you out a bit. And I'll take Jack Daniels (so, whiskey) and coke over rum and coke. If I drink rum I like a dark soda mixer but something more mellow like root beer. As far as shots, I might go with a tequila. Just regular drink though, straight rum or whiskey is pretty top tier.
