talking in terms of all forms of media, including the comics themselves. that's how I feel about it. I think the reason the DC movies try to be dark and brooding is cause DC in general is more serious than Marvel is. I'm not saying DC can't crack jokes but the feel of their universe is darker than Marvel's. This is coming from alot of comic reading and observance
