ive never made it this far before. i like the new graphics
the first person perspective bugs me still but i like that i can see the characters in battle so that kind of balances it out

im looking forward to playing the second ones remake next

3 was like the crap of Phantasy Star.

I loved how I accidentally beat a generation in 5 minutes by talking to the king instead of going outside, lol.

its not like 1 was much better
and 2 was just a barebones version of what 4 was going to be.

so 4 was the only one that was really great.
but the thing is that 3 had some good ideas but needed a complete overhaul to make work
thats why it should have gotten a remake
the remakes for 1 and 2 fleshed out their stories a bit
3 would benefit from that

I actually liked part 1 and made maps for the dungeons. Part 2 was great also and can't believe the hint book came with the game when you bought it.

Keep in mind I played these games when they were first released. Maybe that's why I liked them.

Beat 3 but it wasn 't very good, and never played 4.

Love the series and have finished them all at least a few times. I would say 2 was my favorite, with it being stuck in this weird limbo of having cutting edge graphics for the time but the game play and flow of something clearly developed in the mid 80s.

My only real issue with 4 was how fast paced it seems in the last third or so. Before that pacing was amazing and the story had me all kinds of invest yet the party seems to sort of wrap everything up in quick succession after a certain point.
