About 6... stages?

I'm attempting to beat the game without getting hit as a challenge, but my biggest problem is the OIL DROPS! I can't get a bead on their hitbox

But you'll never know that, since you'll never see the ending, even with dying. Calling it brutally hard is a severe understatement.

Why is it possible on level 2 to run out of keys? That's not good design :p

That's perhaps the least of your problems.

I can now make it to about 1/2 way through level 3 without getting hit, that being the part with two ball'n'chains...

And even then, it was because I didn't know the CHAIN kills you

I don't think I'll be able to do a no-damage clear without some extraneous effort...

Either way, I'm on Stage 4 regularly now... Stage 3 was not the nightmare as claimed

I am getting physically sick from playing the game. I think it's a combination of the 3d, the reverse 3d, the frame skipping and the overall colour scheme.

I won't give up as a whole - I mean, it's not fair to attempt a speedrun for only one day.

I also don't want to leave you empty handed, so here is some test footage of my best run "so far"

It's still frozen at 95% processing, so give it like 5 minutes if it doesn't load right away

I daresay Time Tower is easier than Stage 2 since you don't snag on the walls as much... That being said, Stage 6 is my new par, but now I have to learn its weirdness

I made it to Stage 7, but I embarrassingly used 2 full continues on Metal Roadster trying to figure out its pattern

I can now get to Stage 7 every time on one continue, but Stage 7 keeps throwing out absurdist traps which just eat up lives if you've never seen them before

It's unlikely that I will be able to do it without dying, but I did just get my first clear - it's uploading now.

My plan is to get a 1 credit clear, so that I can get some stage 7/boss practice.

But I have now done stages 1,2,3,4,5 or 6 without getting hit, so it's just a matter of time...

Oh hey, I did it... I managed a single credit clear. Uploading it now.

I think I died maybe 8 times only. And half of those were facepalm accidents

But I did discover a problem... there's a bullet on stage 7 I can't see. It will take several more runs to memorize the blind timing for it. Next goal is to win with 5 or fewer deaths.

I beat it again with fewer deaths, there were 2 accidentals in the early game - and then 10 on the part in Stage 7 I can't due to blindness.

I'm getting motion sick already, so no more runs tonight.

Sorry, my arthritis is catching up from playing so harrd these last few days. I'll need a break before I can put more attempts in.

But I already think I semi-succeeded anyways, getting a 1 credit clear after only 2 days of playing.
