Board 8 > Dragon Age: Inquisition had a great storyline

I see a lot of hate for the open world aspect of DAI (which I get, as a lot of that world is super-empty). I also see people often say that the characters don't get fleshed out well-enough. But after finishing a replay, I'm going to stand united with... myself, I guess, as I say unto you: Inquisition's story is really, really great.

Especially the story of Solas

I wanna replay and never have Solas leave my party and really listen to everything he says.

I did this for most every major storyline on this last playthrough, although there were times where I had to drop him simply because it's tough to leave out characters who fit in certain scenes.

If you do the Grey Warden main quest mission, take Sera, Cole and Solas. Definitely has to be the perfect combo.

I love Dragon Age! Inquisition as very good. Had some major flaws but the strengths made up for it.

I'm so much more on board with DA2 than most people. I liked that cast a ton.

DAI cast is probably the best in the entirety of videogames, but I enjoy the set-pieces of the main story more than I enjoy the actual story. There's a lot of cool things there, but even the Fade segment should've been more fleshed out. You have a gravesite of all your companions and their greatest fears and there's no reaction to it at all.

Also, I can't feel threatened by a main villain that fuckin' Hawke managed to kill.

I loved DAI, including the open world stuff. I felt like I kept discovering things. And yeah, playing an elf lady to romance Solas all the way through the DLC for that aspect was so worth it. I'm a huge DA fan. I loved all of them.

I've thought about doing the Solas romance. I've only ever done Cassandra, Josephine and Cullen.

I beat it after 100 hours on the dot, and I loved parts of it, but despised other parts. The generic, uninspired routine from zone to zone crushed my soul. I loved the characters and their interplay, the environments, but I walked away from the game tired and feeling like it wasnt worth the massive investment. :\

I really wanted to like this game, but ended up getting burnt out partway through. Never went back to it.

I loved it. I did start getting burnt out partway but I was doing every single thing in every area before moving on to the next. But overall I really liked it and had a good time. I'm one of the few that actually liked DA2 though.

All the empty zones definitely are bad, it's definitely the worst part of the game. And it's not just a part of the game, it's the ACTUAL game. It's shocking when little every sidequest in the game is do this thing and then you go do whatever it is and quest done. There's no interaction with NPCs or choices to make or anything. It's just lazy writing.

I never romanced Solas because he's such a poopyhead though.

I can't really rank DA games. DA I was my least favourite for a long while, but recently I've kinda been feeling like Origins wasn't all that good and the series maybe gets better with each installment.
