Had been wanting this game for like 2 months but Odyssey and Zelda got in the way.

Finally getting a chance to play it.

If you want to play a game exclusively made around hitting golf balls in 2d as the core gameplay, then this is the game for you.

If you're not interested in that, then you won't like it.

There's not much RPG to it. The RPG elements are just leveling/cash/walking around and talking to people. The core gameplay is 100% hitting golf balls.

Also, to answer your first question -- I personally love the game so far. I like golf games in general, but not enough to actually play realistic golf. Playing a gimmicky, quirky, less serious golf game sounded fun.

In fact, quirky is a good way to describe the game in general. It's just quirky golfing fun.

I'm kinda the opposite. I wouldn't be interested in a game where you JUST are focused on playing realistic rounds of golf.
