Seriously, you all make me sick to actually be a democrat. If this were republicans, we would all be here calling for their crucifixion right about now.

It's Republicans and fundamentalists who demonize porn stars every day and make it harder for them to get out of it or have any other options by treating them like subhumans for it. So the right doesn't really have any leg to stand on for this. Plus this wasn't even a liberal stance.

If you have any belief in body autonomy, then you have to accept any individual's decision on what happens with his or her genitals.

She got backlash for giving an offensive justification that, afaik(?), nobody asked for.

I dont think anyone was saying that she had to have sex with whomever or she was a bad person. Well, some people may have, but those people are idiotic and can be safely ignored.

Basically, you had a troubled woman give what seemed to her to be a logically sound reason to avoid sleeping with certain actors. That reason was rooted in whats historically been homophobic propaganda. People responded by attacking her like she was a hateful bigot (she wasnt). All complicated by the fact that she ultimately owns her body and doesnt need a reason to not sleep with someone. And then you have people who think porn actors are whores and deserve to be treated like objects. And all that seems to have pushed her over the edge.
