Wikipedia says it's Genso Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki for the PSP.

"Genso Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki" for the PSP is about five years old. It never got an English release.

Konami is an empty shell of its former self and all of the staff who worked on the mainline Suikoden games are gone, anyway, so there would be no point in bringing back the series.

As much as I liked Suikoden (obviously), it needs to stay dead. It dropped off in quality pretty sharply and I don't want Konami touching anything I like anymore after all I've learned about them. I'd rather they just go out of business.

If the original creator wants to make a spiritual successor, though, I'm all over it. He's only worked on one game in the last 11 years, though, so not likely.

Pretty much this. If it got a revival it would just be a pachinko machine.

It sucks to considering Suikoden III is my favorite game of all time.

I'd be fine with Suikoden being revived, but only if it were developed by someone who knows how to make JRPG'S

The last Suikoden was 11 years ago. Since then, there have been two games given that title which are not actually Suikoden games, plus some pachinko machines.
It's been a long drought, and it's by far the series I want revived most...and my favorite series.
At least Suikoden 6 to delve into Harmonia and follow up the events from Suikoden III to "conclude" things properly.

The poll says revive, not necessarily by the current owner. Be optimistic! Maybe some wealthy Suikoden fan buys the rights to Suikoden from Konami for 100 shares of stock in a pachinko company and some magic beans, to hand off to the original Suikoden team. Wouldn't even be the craziest decision Konami's ever made...wouldn't even be in the top 5.

I definitely wish a decent Suikoden game would be made that moved into the future of games 1-3 instead of just going to the past or a different continent.

More than anything, I want more information about Yuber and Pesmerga. Dammit.

Never gonna happen though.

Their story is the one thing I just...never cared about. Maybe if we knew more about their past / relationship w/ each other i'd care more, but it's just...Pesmerga is after Yuber, and that's it...
Of course, having Yuber be a major character in S3 and not even having Persmerga appear in it really was a huge missed opportunity. Wonder why they did that? Just leaves the player w/ the impression that their feud/rivalry isn't really important.

But you see, Yuber and Pesmerga are really hot. :P

I dunno, it just always fascinated me because of how incredibly not human they obviously are.

Last game with a US release was Teirkries (something like that) I'm pretty sure. It was ok.

But 5 was back in like... 05 or 06 wasn't it? It was a great game, but it had an very slow first few hours before it became an amazing game. It also came after IV which wasn't very enjoyed.
