I think I've asked this before, in which case I apologize, but anyway:

4x x + 7

What are the terms, and what are the coefficients?

Are the terms: 4x, -x, and 7?
And are the coefficients 4 and -1?

I guess I'm mostly wondering if the second term is x or -x.

One more question:

In the equation 6x + 8 + 15, are 8 and 15 like terms? Or do like terms NEED to have a variable?
