Malcolm_McGuffi 12/02/17 2:03:18 PM #1:	I just downloaded NiceHash 2.0.13, put in a wallet address, and hit go. I'm only getting 250 H/s. My video card is only a 970 so it's a little old. Also, you aren't mining for Bitcoin with Nicehash but rather selling your computing power and being paid back in Bitcoin. 250 sounds about right for Equihash on a 970. The profitability currently is around a 1070 and you would need multiple of them, it can be worth it if you know what you're doing and have relatively cheap power where you live. You also need to do some overclocking in MSI Afterburner to make it much more efficient. --- My previous signature randomly started getting autoflagged after years of use. Now I have none. If you mine directly for a coin you cannot do it alone as the chances of a block reward makes payouts wildly inconsistent, so you will have to find a good pool to be a part of. Nicehash cuts through all of that at a payout rate that is extremely competitive with just mining directly.
